As part of the dinner, we are thrilled to welcome Mr. Gabriel Glöckler, Principal Adviser Communications at the European Central Bank. Mr. Glöckler joins us to talk about Tariffs, debts, crypto: how can Europe withstand in a world of uncertainty”.

Gabriel Glöckler is a seasoned central banker, economist and communicator with more than 27 years of experience at the European Central Bank (ECB). He has witnessed—and helped shape—the euro’s journey from its inception to today. Gabriel is currently Principal Adviser and senior manager in the ECB’s Directorate General Communications, where he drives innovation in policy communication and helps steer the ECB’s strategic communications. He also serves as Chief Editor of the ECB Blog. Previously, he was Head of the General Secretariat, Deputy Head of the European Department, and Chief of Staff to the ECB Vice-President, playing a central role in managing the euro crisis and engaging directly with EU institutions in Brussels.

Born in Leipzig, Gabriel studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford and holds a Master’s degree from the College of Europe. He is a regular public speaker and appears recurrently in the media. Gabriel is also active in academia, as Visiting Professor at the College of Europe and Lecturer at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, with extensive publications on European integration and central bank communication.
